While this IS from an older definition of Charity, which IS rendered in the King James Bible from the same Greek word agape which IS generally rendered as Love, we should amend our own definition here to include the idea that in the reality of Love a man will accord to ALL men ALL things that he would accord to himself and to say that Love IS our thoughts and attitude of the equality of ALL men regardless of their outward nature or appearance…that ALL ARE equally children of Our One God

ΑΩ•ΑΩ•ΑΩ

PLUS THE EVER IMPORTANT AND HIGH IDEAL TAUGHT TO US BY THE CHRIST: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them” (Matthew 7:12).

In the last essay we continued with our discussion of the Apostle John’s words from the second chapter of his first epistle. The common view of the apostle’s words DOES NOT see the same intent that we see as we relate his words to the Master’s own sayings on the Presence of God and the Holy Spirit, a Presence that ALL men DO have but one which IS ONLY realized according Jesus’ words. Again we should try to see how that the parabolic nature of the language of both the Master and His apostles DO NOT allow for men whose focus IS carnal to see the deeper Truths that their words reveal to those whose focus IS on the things of God. This IS the nature of these words from Jesus that we have been repeating in most eveyr essay, words that show us that it IS by keeping His words that we have the realization of His Presence as well as the the Presence of the Father; and here we must remember that there IS NO True separation between these spiritual ideas of the Christ and the Father which the Master shows us in many ways and none more straightforward that His saying “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). The Master tells us:

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me” (John 14:21-24).

In these words we have the reality of the Presence of God in one’s Life, in one’s conscious Life in this Earth, and here we should see that these ideas ARE ALL spiritual ideas that work out in the psyche of the man to whom such spiritual things ARE revealed. If we can understand the very nature of a man, that he IS the Spirit and the Soul living through a body nature which IS his physical form with its associated mind and emotions, then we can come closer to understanding the dynamic of the Presence of God in one’s Life in this world as the Spirit and the Soul making his Presence felt through the physical Life; it IS this that IS one’s realization of the Presence of God. In this we should also understand that as the Son and the Father ARE the same, as they ARE One, the Spirit and the Soul ARE also One; we can try to understand this as the Spirit, the Life itself, manifesting as the self awareness that IS the Soul. This awareness IS ever present but unrealized by the man whose focus IS upon the self and the self in the world.

The Master tells us that it IS “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them” who has the Presence of God or, from the perspective of the man in the world, has the realization of that Presence of God in his Life. This reality IS among the mysteries of Life itself which the Apostle Paul tells us of as he says “the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:26-27). When we can understand that the idea of saints here IS reference to the Truly holy man, the man who keeps His words or strives to DO so, rather than the doctrinal idea of most every believer, then we can perhaps see how that the mysteries ARE protected. And when we can see that the word rendered as Gentiles here has the much broader meaning of men in this world, the human family 2 as the lexicon shows us, then we can better see the entirety of the relationships intended and understand how that this IS a mystery to the man who IS NOT the saint.

It IS the “Christ in you” which Paul shows us that IS the Christ Within everyman and here we should see how that this Presence IS revealed, as the Master says above, to the man who will keep His words, how that this IS revealed to the saint. And this IS the same basic message that we should take from John’s writings which we repeat again below; this same Christ Within IS the unction, this same Christ Within IS the anointing and here, while the words themselves offer us the reality of the apostle’s intent, the Truth of his words IS NOT seen nor are these Greek words seen in relation to to the Master’s words above or Paul’s amplifying and clarifying ideas on the “Christ in you, the hope of glory“. John tells us:

“But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. He tells us that we have this chrisma “from the Holy One” and by it we KNOW ALL things and were this a simple Truth for a man in this world then the follow up statement would be redundant. It IS NOT redundant however when we look at the context and the construction that the apostle employs as he tells us that we have this chrisma and we KNOW ALL things and then tells us that this same chrisma will “teacheth you of all things” When we can see this through the parabolic tone of the apostle’s writing, we can then see and understand how that this chrisma IS the Christ Within which KNOWS ALL things and that these ARE revealed to the man whose focus IS upon the things of God, a revelation that John shows us as this chrisma will “teacheth you of all things“.

And NO thing IS lost here in our view of these ideas as the very idea of the Christ Within IS found in the same word that the apostle employs: chrisma. This Greek word, Strong’s number 5545, comes from the Greek word chrio which the lexicon tells us means: to anoint 2. Hence we have chiro, to anoint, and chirsma, the anointing, and when we add to this the Greek word chirstos which means what IS anointed, we have the Christ and then the Christ Within. While we see this rather clearly, most DO NOT and perhaps the confusion IS found in the way that christos IS always rendered as Christ and NOT as the anointed. In this the relationship of the words IS lost and while most doctrines DO see the idea of the Christ as the Anointed of God, they DO NOT see how that this reflects upon men in this world.

In the reality that these ideas, this chiro, chrisma and christos are in reference to spiritual things and NOT carnal, that they have NO carnal reference whatsoever, we find the deeper meanings of the the Christ and the Christ Within which ARE NOT unlike the ideas of the Anointed of God and the individual anointing that men have as their very Soul, their very divine being and Life. It IS in the realization of these things in the Life of the man in the world that causes that anointing to be the expression of the man in much the same way as this was the expression of the man Jesus who DOES show us how that ALL of these ideas ARE within us; NOT ONLY in these ideas on the Presence of God in one’s Life that we have above but also in His words regarding the nature and the Presence of the Holy Spirit which Jesus tells us will “teach you all things“. Do we see the relationships that ARE hidden in the words that the Master and the apostle use?

It IS in the doctrinal view of the Holy Spirit that much of the reality of the Oneness of the Three Aspects of God ARE Lost and it IS in the doctrinal view that the translations ARE formed around the doctrinal idea the the Holy Spirit comes into one’s Life as a separate entity. In the very idea of the Holy Spirit we should see the Spirit of God in the Presence of God that Jesus speaks about above. And when we can see His words saying “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you” (John 14:17) in the better context of that He IS in you as some render this final thought, we should be able to understand the same ideas as we present above regarding the unction and the anointing. We DO NOT have to stretch at all to see the clarity of the relationships here; we read above that it IS the anointing that will “teacheth you of all things” and IS this same teaching that the Master assigns to the Holy Spirit as we read in His words saying: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26).

It IS at the intersection of ALL of these ideas that come from the various sayings by the Master and His apostles that the greater Truths ARE found but this IS NOT apparent to ALL men and we see this idea in Jesus words above saying “the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him“. Here, while the doctrinal church believes that they have this realization through their various doctrines, the deeper Truth IS found in Jesus own saying above regarding the need to keep His words….this IS the cost of discipleship and the work that must be done in order to receive, to realize, the Presence of God and to be accounted worthy of the Kingdom of God. This again is our trifecta, our threefold relationship to the Godhead which ALL come to us in the same cause….that we keep His words.

While this idea of DOING IS discounted by the doctrines of men, the reality IS clearly stated by the Master and IS reflected for us in the words of His apostles. And it IS this that we should see in the complete context of John’s words that lead us to his speaking about the unction, the anointing that we understand as the Christ Within. So much of the apostle’s intent IS lost in the doctrinal view of the antichrist and the effect of this word upon the underlying Truths that he shows us. When we can see the whole of the idea of the anointing and the anointed we can then see how that the antichrist IS the anti christos which IS NOT only against Christ but against the Christ Within or the individual anointing that “teacheth you of all things“. In this sense we should see that ALL men whose thoughts, attitudes and actions ARE contrary to the words of the Master as these emanate as the Truth from the Inner man, the Soul, ARE anti christos and this IS the apostle’s caution. Here we should try to see how that it IS those who teach and try to convince that the Truth of God IS found in worldly thoughts ideas and actions should be seen as they ARE….contrary to the Master’s Truth and it IS in this sense that John implores men to hear the Truth as it comes in that anointing, in that chrisma. This IS the apostle’s message which IS seen in the light of day for the man whose focus IS NOT upon those things that ARE contrary to the will of God as we read in John’s words saying:

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. While most doctrines become stuck on the idea of propitiation, they miss the crux of the apostle’s point as he tells us: “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him” (1 John 2:3-5). The words of the Master that accompany our motto here are the source for our understanding of GoodWill and our method of practice and the words of His apostles are their echo of the second part of the Greatest Commandment as enunciated by the Christ. While there IS much symbolism in the full moon idea, the reality for us IS more simple and IS intended to show the relationships between the Christ and the Buddha and the Truth of Love and humanity.
