From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men–
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

We began last time with some additional remarks on invocation as they were related to the Great Invocation above, with a reminder that the use of invocation does not necessarily bring an action from God or His angles or disciples in the Kingdom but it is rather a way par excellence to invoke one’s own Soul and perhaps kindred Souls to some spiritual undertaking. As we see in our prayer above, we are asking that the Light, the Love and the Power of God and therefore of each Soul individually, to play a greater role in the Earth. It is our understanding and our premise here that this must start with each man as an individual in form who can by invocation provide the necessary focus upon the Soul, the Christ Within, so as to in turn provide the Light and the Love and the Power of the Soul as the guiding Light for one’s ongoing Life in form. We can see here that through many men working on this change of focus and the reinforcement of this focus as we see in the Affirmation of the Disciple below that is again our Quote of the Day, that we can begin to make this have a worldwide effect as in the idea of Let Light descend on Earth and we can likely see, if we can look away from doctrine, a similar idea that with many accomplishing this focus and the bringing forth of the Light and the Love of God into individual lives that we are as well bringing forth the Christ as the Christ Within which can and likely will have a large effect in realizing the next stanza’s ending of May Christ return to Earth. There are deep mysteries here and while we do KNOW that HE will return, we should understand that He will return in LOVE as He came among us the first time and not in the apocalyptic jargon that so many have created from His words and the words of His apostles. The apocalyptic sense that has been put onto the reality of scripture serves only to distract many from the Truth of His words which are intended to bring ALL men to the strait gate that opens into the Kingdom of God and, as we KNOW, this is a journey of realization, we should also see the words interpreted as apocalyptic, as words that do not have the physical plane meaning that the churches assume.

While we are here again in the midst of the Great Invocation, let us take some time to look as well at the next stanzas. While as Souls we may or may not KNOW the totality of the Will of God, we can assume that we DO KNOW the Will of God as it pertains to this Earth Life cycle of which we are a part. And here again we have our idea of focus; it is through the focus of the man in form upon the things of God that we can see the Will of God and it is through this same focus that we can let it guide our own little lives on this Earth and, it is by our example and our service, that we can encourage others to see Life in this same way. Not doctrinally, but rather in a way that others can understand that it is in the right focus that we succeed in doing the Will of God and, we also KNOW from the Master’s words that this IS of the criteria for attaining His Kingdom as He tells us: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). We should understand from the last line of this stanza that the Masters of the Wisdom that we discussed briefly a few posts back are in line with and serve this Will of God which IS the Plan of God from our little perspective; this is to say that ALL Souls who have overcome this world and who choose to remain in service to their brothers KNOW the Will of God and, from our perspective we are, as Souls, as they are except that we have not yet succeeded in attaining the Kingdom and discipleship through Life in this world which is our only arena for accomplishing this objective and goal of ALL Souls. The last stanza is a basic summation of the reality of our accomplishment of the first three and is a futuristic approach, an affirmation if you will, that says that as more and more Souls in form are able to bring the Light and the Love and the Power of God into play through their lives in the world that the Plan of Light and Love, the Plan and the Will of God as we can understand it, will, by its very nature, bring ever more men to the Truth and this by the example and the service of those who have their focus on this Light and this Love. It is here that we can seal the door where evil dwells which is to say that by our effort and the spread of this effort to many that we can begin to overcome the illusion and the glamour, the Apostle Paul’s vanity, to which we are subjected by the Plan of God, and by our Light and the Light of ALL who can so focus upon the Truth we can dissipate the fog of illusion and the mists of glamour for ALL. It ALL begins with each of us as individuals of courage, courage to step out of the wisdom of the world and into the Wisdom from above.

In the last post we were led by the words of Paul that appear below to a discussion on the common understanding of his words they pertain to homosexual activity which is not in its entirety the apostles message but rather an example chosen from his words. And this was our point, that in this world of sinners, of men who are focused upon the self and the self in the world, there is the tendency to deflect one’s own sense of guilt upon others and to deem oneself righteous. This many have done with homosexuality and with abortion and other ‘vices’ as well where those who partake in these are judged and disparaged while those who do the disparaging and the judging have skeletons in their own closets and we made this example as we discussed our first two sayings of the Master that address judgment. These saying tell us plainly that we should not judge and further explain that we should not correct others when we have closet issues of our own, even those that are unrelated to what we may as men want to correct. The reality is that it is not the place of the man in form in the world who desires spiritual advancement to judge anyone or anything and this is, as we can see in the world today, a difficult lesson to learn. Repeating our sayings from yesterday for clarity we have:

  • Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:1-5).
  • Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:37-38).

We treated both of these sayings by the Master in some detail in the last post and we continue now with the rest of the group that we had originally assembled and which can show us the Truth of the Master’s words on judgment. We should understand here as we begin again that this idea of judgement is not that we would judge what IS apparent; that one may be a homosexual or that one may have had or participated in abortion to use our own apparent examples of the judgmental aspects that we can clearly see in the world today, but the reality of judgment is in our judging the right or the wrong that is attendant with these things from the perspective of God or that we disparage another because of their participation or allude that this is worse than another ‘sin’ that one may commit including our own.

  • And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?” (Luke 12:54-57). This saying from the Apostle Luke gives us another side of judgment from the perspective of the Master who is clearly telling us that we are paying attention to, focusing on if you will, the wrong things. His question is to the intent of the man to whom he speaks and, as we KNOW, we are among these. We should try to see these ideas of weather as examples and not as the hard reality that the Master is trying to impart; we should be able to see that He is speaking about all of man’s worldly focus as He tells them that even in this time of the Advent of the Christ in the World, that they DO NOT see what is being shown to them from a Truly spiritual perspective….they only see the world. Jesus ends this by reminding them and us of the other type of judgement that we cover above and in the last post which is put by the Master as our judging “what is right” and not according to the ways of men.`
  • Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24). And this is the same idea here regarding right judgement except that it goes further; it goes into the area righteousness which IS as we KNOW the quality of one who is focused upon the things of God. In these words is the KEY to the Master’s message to the Pharisees; that they not look at things from a worldly and selfish perspective. He is telling them and us that we should look from the perspective of the Soul as this IS where True righteousness exists. This the Master tells us as He draws that line between the righteous and everyone else saying that “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). We should understand here that there is a power to righteousness that is not of this world but is of the Soul, of the Christ Within, and is based upon one’s focus upon the things of the God. Of this the Master tells us that we should “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33) and in this we see that this True righteousness comes from God and from the God Within. Paul gives us some help in understanding the True import of righteousness as he tells us “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God” (Romans 10:3) and in this saying is much of the reality that we seek here to impart. In a more simple saying the apostle tells us “Awake to righteousness, and sin not” (1 Corinthians 15:24) and in this we should see how these two are opposites and if sin is for us focus upon the self and the world and righteousness is focus upon the things of God, we can see the apostles much similar words. We should remember as well that this righteousness IS found in the fruit of the Spirit as the apostle teaches us. Can we see here that True righteousness IS of God and the God within and it IS ONLY in this Light that we should ever judge.
  • Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me” (John 8:15-16). In this saying we have the reality of judgment from the perspective of the Master. What He is telling them and us is that it is the way of the man focused on the self and the world to “judge after the flesh” and in response to His own observation, He tells us “I judge no man“. There is much importance in this declaration from which Jesus enters into the hypothetical to tell us that if He did judge that it would be a judgment that is of God….His righteousness. Can we see the reality here regarding what we have said regarding judgement, that there is none as we commonly understand this word and from here the Master goes on to tell us that: “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son” (John 5:22). What do we take away from this? That the “Father judgeth no man” but had given that responsibility to the Second Aspect of the Trinity, the Christ, the expressed Love of God. Add to this the Master’s words from the previous saying where He tells us that “I judge no man” and we can deduce that, as we have been saying, there IS NO judgment.

There is a reality to these ideas of judgement that is revealed in His words above and which are misunderstood and misconstrued by the doctrines that teach heaven and hell and punishment. In the end each True man, each Soul, IS his own judge and ALL works according to the law so as no Soul can raise to a level for which he is not ready and prepared. We should understand here as well that one’s readiness is wrought out in the crucible of Life here in this world; this is the subject of most ALL of the Master’s teachings….that we can become ready and accounted worthy of His Kingdom.

We did not get to our words below from Paul to the Romans and we will try to begin here in the next post.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things”  (Romans 1:18-23).

Note on the Quote of the Day

This daily blog also has a Quote of the Day which may not be in any way related to the essay. Many of these will be from the Bible and some just prayers or meditations that may have an influence on you and are in line with the subject matter of this blog. As the quote will change daily and will not store with the post, it is repeated in this section with the book reference and comment.

We are again at a time of year that includes the three Spiritual Festivals which are yet largely unrecognized by the Christian churches except for the one that recently past called Easter. We know about these festivals through the teaching and the efforts of the Master’s of the Wisdom who we should see as advanced disciples of the Christ, a group which may yet include those Souls that appeared with the Master as His Apostles, disciples and others who aided and assisted in His Great Mission such as the Baptist and His natural mother Mary. Each of these festivals is celebrated at a Full Moon and the cycle begins with Easter which is celebrated on the Sunday following the first Full Moon of Spring. At the Full Moon of May, which occurs on the 5th day of the month, is the Wesak Festival which is the Festival of the Buddha and at the Full Moon of June, which will occur on the 4th of June, is the Christ Festival also known today as World Invocation Day. As we progress toward the Wesak Festival we will post Quote’s of the Day that are, in our view, conducive to the view of the Buddha and the Christ as regards the spreading of Love and GoodWill throughout the world; we begin with the Affirmation of the Disciple.

I am a point of light within a greater Light.
I am a strand of loving energy within the stream of Love divine.
I am a point of sacrificial Fire, focused within the fiery Will of God.

And thus I stand

I am a way by which men may achieve.
I am a source of strength, enabling them to stand.
I am a beam of light, shining upon their way.

And thus I stand.

And standing thus, revolve
And tread this way the ways of men,
And know the ways of God.

And thus I stand.

We repeat again what we had previously said of this Mantram:

Today’s Quote of the Day is called the Affirmation of the Disciple and is spoken from the perspective of the Soul and not from that of the man in form. It is the Soul that we are in this life on Earth, housed in this ‘temple’ of flesh and it is the Light of the Soul that must flow through this ‘temple’ in order that we may say with the Christ “I have overcome the world“ (John 16:33) which is our goal and our destiny. Speaking then as the Soul we affirm our reality and true existence in God and in His Three Aspects of Light and Love and His Will. As this Light and Love and Will flow through our conscious personalities and forms we, as disciples, take on the nature of the second stanza being able to offer to the world a better way through our service and our Love for all, encouragement to righteousness through our strength of purpose, and the Light which shines in accordance with the Master’s instructions to “Let your light so shine before men” (Matthew 5:16) and illuminates the Path. Finally we realize that we are standing in this world and walking as men but, as conscious Souls in form, we know the way and the ways of God and are able to say with the Christ that “I am not of this world” (John 8:23).

Let the peace of God rule in your hearts!
