From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.
From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men–
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.
From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
We began yesterday discussing the Great Invocation and the meaning of invocation from our perspective as aspirants in the world of men. We furthered this by trying to understand how invocation works in the greater scheme of things and we resolved that it IS through the form lives of men in the word that are expressing some degree of the Light of the Soul that God or the Masters or any spiritual influence can directly affect the lives of men and the ways of the world. We further resolved that the only True invocation IS on that IS of a spiritual nature, that naught that the man in the world is concerned with, no things for the self, no matter how altruistic these may seem. It IS ONLY through the Light, the Love and the Power of God which IS the Light, the Love and the Power of each individual Spirit and Soul, that change can be wrought as it is through these that ALL things become possible in the Earth. We should understand here that the Light is effectively the reality of the Holy Spirit as the activity of the Souls, both individually and en masse, work out the Way of Truth in the world of men. It IS this Light of the Soul, this Holy Spirit, that has direct effect upon the world of men and it IS this in the idea of en masse that we find the Holy Spirit as He relates us to God through our individual Souls. God IS and we ARE part and parcel of God; there IS NO separation between the True man, the Soul in form, and God as we can understand Him and from this perspective we should try to see that the Holy Spirit is the activity of God in the world and the activity of God in us individually as well.
Man IS Spirit and God IS Spirit and this is our Truth as testified to by the pronouncement of God that “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” and from where we read further that “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:26-27). This IS a Truth that must eventually be understood by the churches and their doctrines as IS our reality that from this basic Truth we have also another reality, that both man and God are essential Trinities which Truth, when rightly discerned and properly understood, can give ALL men a more correct perspective on themselves and their relationship to their brothers as well as to their God. So then, as we have been saying throughout our posts, the Spirit that IS man is manifest as the Soul, not as the body but as the Soul, and it is this Soul which lives both in form during incarnation and sans form when out of incarnation; it IS this Soul of man that is the True man and that IS expressing this True nature by degree through any particular Life in the world. This Soul of man is ever entwined in the Soul that we can call God for as our individual Spirit manifests as Soul, the entirety of Creation does so as well and it is in this we should be able to see a glimpse of the reality of Life in the Kingdom of God. We should understand then this manifestation as the Cosmic Christ, the essence of that Love that IS God and the cohesive reality that maintains ALL. There are no words to adequately describe what we are trying to say here but using those that we can, we should try to see that the Spirit that IS God IS that Boundless, Immutable, Eternal, Infinite Presence in whom, as Paul tells us, “we live, and move, and have our being” (Acts 17:28), and it can be said that there is nothing else but HIM. Now we CAN NOT understand nor even imagine what this idea of Presence means but from out perspective this IS the IS’ness that IS God; this IS that Spirit that we humbly call God and of which we are part and parcel. And, seeing how we are in His image and seeing how we are Spirit manifest as Souls, we should try to see OUR God as the manifestation of the Christ from the ONENESS of that Spirit that we call God and see in this Trinity as the Father. These ideas are faintly described by the Apostle John who tells us in the Prologue to his gospel that: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:1-3).
John also tells us this Truth: “God is love” (1 John 4:8, 16) and in this we should see the reality of this manifestation of God as Love and thereby the reality of the Christ as the Son and, of course, we cannot look at this idea of Son in a worldly way as we KNOW sons, but from the perspective of the meaning of a Son who IS FROM the Father….IS part and parcel of the Father. Here we repeat the meaning of this term from our perspective as it is based upon the meaning given for the idiom: In the idea of ‘part and parcel’ as an idiom is the reality of something that cannot be separated from a condition or activity* and in these defining thoughts is the idea that we are trying to get across regarding our relationship to OUR GOD. We, as Spirit, CAN NOT be separated from God, and, if this is True, God CAN NOT be separated from us as well nor from any part of HIS Spiritual Creation. In the context of the Father and the Son, we can see this same thing which only enhances our understanding of this ALL; as we have said, and as our chart below shows, there is the same Trinity at work in the Life as the individual Soul as there is in the Life of God and this is of course from the perspective that we have as men in form. Then we can read from both the Prologue to John’s Gospel and from his epistle that Love IS the manifestation of the Spirit that IS God, Love IS God from the perspective of the man in the world and that the Christ, as the Principal of Love, is expressed to the world through the Life of Jesus the Christ who came among us bearing “all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9) in which fullness we should see first the very Nature of God……LOVE.
We have then the Light, and the Love of God in the world expressed through the Christ who tells us clearly that “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12) which IS in our understanding then His activity and therefore the activity of the Christ Within as well and here we can try to see that the Nature of the Christ IS Love and that the activity of the Christ IS Light and this IS the Holy Spirit. The Master tells us that we are that Light as well and in this we should understand that this IS a Truth from the perspective of the Soul; it is our expression only as we focus upon the Soul, the Christ Within; He tells us “Ye are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14) and in context we can see that He is speaking to those whose focus IS upon God and the God Within. We should be able to see in these words above that both Light and Love are Christ’s and being Christ’s they are the Christ Within’s as well and this is as it appears in our chart below. Our final word here then IS Power, the Power of God, and in this we should be able to see His Will and His Purpose and we will posit here that these three are the same. From our view as men in form we can only see this Will as it is manifest in the Love and the Light as these carry with them this Will of God; we should try to see this from the logical perspective as any other is likely beyond our ken. If God IS Love then His Will must be found in this Love and in this we must try to understand so much more than we can readily comprehend; in this Love that IS God is found that cohesiveness that KEEPS ALL things; in this Love IS the quality of Life that stretches from the smallest sub-atomic particles to the galaxies and then even to the unity of these galaxies which unity is to be found in ways that we can not presently even imagine. It is this Love that KEEPS ALL things working according to their pattern which we can see as the very Will of God and if we should want to imagine the reality of God, we can try to see that ALL things work within and are a part of some greater thing and beating through every thing that we can imagine from a physical perspective is the Life that Is God.
And we should understand that this addresses only what we can see as behind these things, giving them Life, is yet the spiritual realm and just as this is True of us as men, that we are Spirit, manifest as Soul and living intermittently through form, it is likely True that every physical entity also has this Spirit/Soul that motivates it and gives it Life and while this may not be in any way related to what we have come to understand as the Spirit and Soul of man, it is a spiritual essence nonetheless.
Returning to our invocation that ends with this Line that we have been discussing; Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth, we return to what IS the responsibility of the men in the world. As we have been saying, when we invoke these things as in this prayer, we are invoking these realities from our own being, from our own Souls, and are asking for we ourselves and kindred selves as well to accomplish having more Light and more Love working through the hearts and minds of men and it IS necessary that in our sincere invocation that this starts with each of us individually. It is when we can better express the Life and the Love and the Power of the Soul through our individual lives that we can find any degree of help or assistance from any more heavenly spiritual being as ANY communication that we can have with these Greater Souls and with God must per force come through our own Souls. It is for this reason that the Christ came among us and it is for this reason that though the ages Great Sons of God have come into physical incarnation to teach, to instruct and to institute whatsoever change is due in the world of men much as we see in the new dispensation that the Christ brought to us more than 2000 years ago. Man HAS dominion on this Earth and it is only through men that changes can be wrought and these can be carnal or these can be spiritual….the spiritual today relies on us.
We close today with this selection from the words of the Apostle Paul to the Romans, that same Epistle in which we found our better understanding of Life itself. Here in this selection we find some important revelations that pertain to the discussion that we are having here today; there are some deep Truths in these words and while so many believe that this part of Paul’s works refers only to the actions of some in the world, they do in fact refer to the actions of ALL men and not nearly in the way that the common doctrinal understanding dictates.
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things“ (Romans 1:18-23).

Note on the Quote of the Day
This daily blog also has a Quote of the Day which may not be in any way related to the essay. Many of these will be from the Bible and some just prayers or meditations that may have an influence on you and are in line with the subject matter of this blog. As the quote will change daily and will not store with the post, it is repeated in this section with the book reference and comment.
We are again at a time of year that includes the three Spiritual Festivals which are yet largely unrecognized by the Christian churches except for the one that recently past called Easter. We know about these festivals through the teaching and the efforts of the Master’s of the Wisdom who we should see as advanced disciples of the Christ, a group which may yet include those Souls that appeared with the Master as His Apostles, disciples and others who aided and assisted in His Great Mission such as the Baptist and His natural mother Mary. Each of these festivals is celebrated at a Full Moon and the cycle begins with Easter which is celebrated on the Sunday following the first Full Moon of Spring. At the Full Moon of May, which occurs on the 5th day of the month, is the Wesak Festival which is the Festival of the Buddha and at the Full Moon of June, which will occur on the 4th of June, is the Christ Festival also known today as World Invocation Day. As we progress toward the Wesak Festival we will post Quote’s of the Day that are, in our view, conducive to the view of the Buddha and the Christ as regards the spreading of Love and GoodWill throughout the world; we begin with the Affirmation of the Disciple.
I am a point of light within a greater Light.
I am a strand of loving energy within the stream of Love divine.
I am a point of sacrificial Fire, focused within the fiery Will of God.
And thus I stand
I am a way by which men may achieve.
I am a source of strength, enabling them to stand.
I am a beam of light, shining upon their way.
And thus I stand.

And tread this way the ways of men,
And know the ways of God.
And thus I stand.
We repeat again what we had previously said of this Mantram:
Today’s Quote of the Day is called the Affirmation of the Disciple and is spoken from the perspective of the Soul and not from that of the man in form. It is the Soul that we are in this life on Earth, housed in this ‘temple’ of flesh and it is the Light of the Soul that must flow through this ‘temple’ in order that we may say with the Christ “I have overcome the world“ (John 16:33) which is our goal and our destiny. Speaking then as the Soul we affirm our reality and true existence in God and in His Three Aspects of Light and Love and His Will. As this Light and Love and Will flow through our conscious personalities and forms we, as disciples, take on the nature of the second stanza being able to offer to the world a better way through our service and our Love for all, encouragement to righteousness through our strength of purpose, and the Light which shines in accordance with the Master’s instructions to “Let your light so shine before men” (Matthew 5:16) and illuminates the Path. Finally we realize that we are standing in this world and walking as men but, as conscious Souls in form, we know the way and the ways of God and are able to say with the Christ that “I am not of this world” (John 8:23).
